The road to accomplishment is a seriously hard road and it is not for the light-minded.
What I mean is simple, if you quit things when the going gets tough then accomplishments will be far away from you. This is because in order for you to accomplish something, you have to face trials and set backs.
Anyone who has accomplished something will always tell you that you will face issues and problems that in the moment seem impossible to defeat.
The truth is, you just need to be dedicated and motivated. You need to be determined to face those battles, learn what you need and get past them.
For example, the road to me publishing my first book was a really hard one. I took a year off school ( after my A levels and before university ) and that was the time I decided to publish my work. When I made this decision, I had no idea how to go about it.
I was a virgin to the book industry. I read countless blogs, did so much research, watched videos, listened to podcasts. I made so many mistakes and I faced one too many issues but in the end, I became a published author.
I got my accomplishment. I achieved my goal. I learned my lessons and I will avoid those mistakes when publishing my second book.
- You have to be ready to accept your mistakes when you set out to accomplish something.
- You have to be ready to face problems and issues when you set out to accomplish something.
I say something to myself when things seem ‘impossible’;
I live by faith and not by sight.
I live my life according to what I can see it developing into and not by what is in front of me. If I focus on that then the situation would just seem more impossible. If I focus on what I can see it developing into then I can solve what is in front of me.
I don’t mean to get a bit deep on you guys but I just felt this and I knew I needed to write it.
Till next time lovelies
